Parrot Heads in Lincolnland (PHiL) is a non-profit organization interested in Jimmy Buffett's music and tropical spirit.
Parrot Heads are people who enjoy the Jimmy Buffett lifestyle and believe in his idealism of "doing something nice for the planet."
We provide members with a variety of social activities and assist in community outreach and environmental programs. Essentially, we are a social/charity organization whose members are brought together through their attraction to Jimmy's music. In between the concerts and Parrot Head parties, we find time to help out as many charities as possible. Some of the organizations we have worked with include the Alzheimer's Association, United Cerebral Palsy, Illinois Adopt-A-Highway, Toys for Tots, Habitat for Humanity, and Adams Wildlife Sanctuary.
We have various "socials" around Springfield, as well as occasionally a "bidness" meeting. Please monitor this site for our next phlocking!
